Trail racing.

Well done to star man Richie Webster taking first Vet home in the 21km Salomon Lakes trail race at the weekend.

Anyone any thoughts on the road racing versus trail racing debate? What’s better? Is the trail better for your joints opposed to road running? Or is the tril just too dirty!!

Week end round up.

So never mind the excitement of the last day of the Premeirship, or the hullabaloo over Joey Bartons sending off. The real excitement was at Port Sunlight for thr inaugural 10k. As I was wallowing in my sick bed I believe I missed a great well run event with a turn out of around 1000 runners. Well done to all who ran, in particular clients from Massage for Life and CreationPT who turned out some great times and smashed some PB’s.

The weekend is upon us!!

A very busy weekend ahead on the sporting front involving Massage for Life clients. Phil Cuthbert and Dave Walton are in sunnier climes this weekend over in Majorca for the Half Iron Man and Richie Webster in Anglesey for the Half Marathon. (I expect it will be a little chillier there!)

Many people involved with the Port Sunlight 10k on Sunday too numerous to mention. One of the sponsors of the 10k being Creation Personal Training Studio so good luck to you all.

And of course the Chester Half Marathon is on Sunday too with a full field tackling a new route starting at the racecourse and finishing in front of the Town Hall in the city centre. I myself will be taking part along with some fast clients who are likely to put me to shame! Check out the live Twitter feed on Sunday for real time updates.

Good luck everyone and RACE HARD!!
