Well a good weekend fore sport I would say. Well done to Dan Ruygrok on a great 5th place in his age group at the European Tri-athlon championships. And of course the Virgin London Marathon took place yesterday. Great result for Susie Coughlan with a 4 hour 30 minute finish in her first 26 miler with super athlete Richie Webster in his 10th London Marathon home in 2 hours 48 minutes. Great PB for him. Well done to everyone.

Another great result for ultra marathon specialist Richie Webster. Top ten in the 38 mile Calderdale Hike at the weekend is a great result for the Wirral runner. He’s now looking forward to the “short” London Marathon on Sunday. Does this guy ever taper??!!
